We are an ensemble of professional artists, all conservatoire graduates. We sing the responses of the Orthodox services — weddings, baptisms, funerals, the Divine Liturgy — in formations of four to eight artists.
We check availability for your date and reply with a quote within 24 hours.

Ensemble sizes
We usually sing as a quintet. The number of artists depends on the acoustics of the church.

The smallest formation that still gives a balanced choral sound. Chapels and small churches.

Our usual formation. It fills a medium-sized church comfortably, with no amplification.

For churches with a large volume, or when a separate solo moment is wanted.

Two artists on each part. Cathedrals, long-reverberation churches, patronal feasts.

Frequently asked questions
Which services do you sing at?
Weddings, baptisms, funerals, memorial services, the Divine Liturgy, patronal feasts, consecrations and Te Deum services. We only sing outside a church if the service itself is held outdoors — and Christmas carols, in December.
How many artists are needed?
Five artists fill a medium-sized church and this is the formation we choose most often. In a chapel, four are enough. In large churches with a long echo, and for the Liturgy, we recommend six or eight. Tell us the church and we will advise.
Do you sing in any church in Bucharest?
Yes. Letting the priest know stays with you, though — the parish needs to be told in good time that a choir is coming. At the services we sing, we take the place of the parish cantor from beginning to end.
Do you sing outside Bucharest?
Yes, we sing across Romania. Within Bucharest there is no travel charge. Outside the city, Ilfov county included, travel is added, and depending on the distance a supplement for the additional hours may apply. Everything appears explicitly in the quote — nothing is added afterwards.
How far in advance should I book?
Ideally we would arrange it one to two months ahead, but that is not a rule — we have sung at services booked a week in advance. Please get in touch whatever the timing and we will check whether we are free on your date and at your time.
Is your date still free?
Sometimes a date goes months ahead, sometimes it is still free a week before. Send us the date and time and we will check straight away.
