A choir for baptisms
We sing the responses of the Orthodox baptism service. Its central moment is “As many as have been baptised into Christ have put on Christ”, sung during the procession around the font.
How many artists
Baptisms are usually held in a chapel or a smaller space, where four or five artists are enough.
How long
The service lasts around 40 minutes.
Worth knowing
If the baptism follows a wedding or the Liturgy, the schedule can slip. We keep the necessary margin.
Ensemble sizes
We usually sing as a quintet. The number of artists depends on the acoustics of the church.
Quartet · 4 artists
The smallest formation that still gives a balanced choral sound. Chapels and small churches.

Quintet · 5 artists
Our usual formation. It fills a medium-sized church comfortably, with no amplification.
Sextet · 6 artists
For churches with a large volume, or when a separate solo moment is wanted.
Octet · 8 artists
Two artists on each part. Cathedrals, long-reverberation churches, patronal feasts.
Larger formations are available on request.
